1. How long it takes
Orders are dispatched within 20 days. All items are made to order; this is production time. Transit time is additional and varies by destination:

Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees. Customs clearance may add time that cannot be predicted.
If we are going to be late
Where dispatch within 20 days is not possible, notice is given before that date, stating the reason, a revised date where known, and offering cancellation with a full refund. No reason need be given for cancelling.
2. What shipping costs
Shipping is calculated at checkout and displayed in full before payment. It varies by destination and parcel weight. No charge is added subsequently.
Delivery is available to the countries offered at checkout. Enquiries regarding other destinations may be sent to info@wickedergonomy.com.
3. Customs and import charges
Orders outside the EU may attract customs duties, import VAT or handling fees. These are determined by the destination country, are excluded from the price, and are payable by the customer as importer.
They cannot be calculated in advance. Parcels are not declared as gifts and their value is not understated; both are unlawful and would remove recourse in the event of loss.
4. Packaging
Parcels are plain and unbranded. No logo, product name or description appears externally beyond what customs documentation requires.
5. Passing of risk
Risk passes on delivery to the customer or to a person nominated by the customer.
Where a parcel arrives damaged, notice should be given before the packaging is discarded. Photographs of the outer packaging materially assist a carrier claim.
6. Items made to measure
Most items are manufactured to dimensions supplied by the customer. Production commences for that order specifically, and the result is not reliably wearable by another person.
Under Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(c), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised. This is the exception relied upon, and acknowledgement of it is required at checkout.
Rights arising where an item is defective or misdescribed are unaffected. See section 8.
7. Standard-size items
(Applies once standard sizes are available — currently in development.)
Standard-size items are not made to the customer’s specification, and the 14-day right of withdrawal applies:
- Withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days of receipt, for any reason and without giving one.
- Notice may be given to info@wickedergonomy.com or by the form in section 13.
- Goods must be returned within 14 days of that notice. **Return shipping is at the customer’s cost.**
- Refund is made within 14 days of receipt of the goods, or of evidence of their return.
- The customer is liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond that necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
8. Faulty, damaged, or not as described
These rights apply to all items supplied, including those made to measure, and are not limited by this document or by the checkout acknowledgements.
Where an item is delivered defective, damaged in transit, or materially different from its description, notice should be given within a reasonable time of discovery. The item will be repaired, replaced or refunded. Return shipping is at the seller’s cost in these cases.
Photographs assist resolution and may be requested before a return is arranged.
9. If it does not fit
Fit is the most frequent issue with made-to-measure goods. The outcome depends on the cause.
Where the item does not match the dimensions supplied, it is remanufactured at the seller’s cost, or refunded.
Where the item matches the dimensions supplied but those dimensions did not match the body, this is not a defect in the goods and the withdrawal exemption applies. A remanufacture may be quoted at the cost of materials and time rather than at full price. This is a discretionary practice and not a contractual entitlement.

10. Hygiene
Returned items must be clean. A refund may be reduced to reflect diminished value where an item is returned soiled or damaged beyond the extent of inspection.
Returned body-contact items are not resold as new, for reasons of health protection.
11. Cancelling before dispatch
Made to measure: cancellation is free of charge until production commences. Thereafter it is at the seller’s discretion and may carry a charge reflecting work performed and materials committed. The state of the item is stated before any charge is quoted.
Standard sizes: cancellation is free of charge at any time before dispatch.
